Office clerks are all-rounders who acquire commercial knowledge and PC skills during their training and learn how to organise an office in such a way that everything runs smoothly. After completing their training office clerks are employed at DPD for example in customer service, internal sales, the accounts department or as part of the secretarial staff. They advise customers on all questions of logistics and implement their wishes competently. Their daily tasks include the selection and planning of the optimum means of transport, the calculation of prices and ensuring that customers are satisfied.
The training period for this profession is three years.
