We care for our community.

We regard ourselves as being part of the society in which we work.

As a result we make a strong contribution to the general well-being of the community and support many not-for-profit organisations – not just by making financial donations but also by voluntary work and the provision of logistical support.

Strong together: DPD supports childrens' hospice services

A number of German depots have joined forces in aid of Germany's children's hospice association, collecting the amount of 10,000 euros. In addition the DPD depot in Marl organised a children's party at which everyone involved had a great time.

DPD. Partner to Sporthilfe

Since 2004 DPD has been supporting the charity Deutsche Sporthilfe in its efforts to promote up-and-coming sporting talent and peak performance. The focus of DPD's support is on providing assistance to junior sportspeople in combining their sporting activities with a career in the world of work.

The DPD Initiative for People in Aschaffenburg

In the city where its head office is located DPD donates an annual 30,000 euros to charitable organisations and projects in the region. A jury made up of DPD staff, churches and the city of Aschaffenburg decides on how the money is used. In addition there is an annual "DPD Volunteers' Day" in which personnel from the company contribute their work on projects such as preparing a deer park for the winter or giving the local youth centre a new coat of paint.
