SMS/e-mail notification

DPD can provide interactive delivery notification (e-mail and SMS) to their customers. With this unique service the consignees are able to reschedule the delivery date

The first pick up scan generate the SMS. The consignee have the opportunity to reorganize the delivery choosing from the following two delivery days. They need to do this reply 1 or 2. The incorrectly responses is checked by DPD customer service agents.

The first e-mail is sent when the parcel get the pick up scan. DPD inform the consignee with this e-mail about the next day delivery, parcel number shipper name and address, COD amount. The e-mail contains a link, and the consignee can reschedule the delivery date with this link.

We send second e-mail also, when the parcel is out for delivery.
