In the course of their training commercial forwarding and logistics specialists are familiarised with all sections of DPD: from management and monitoring of shipments through order processing and sales right down to transport scheduling, customer service and the accounts department. One specific focus of the training course is on the areas of order processing and transport scheduling. Here trainees actively participate in the selection of transport routes, the implementation of delivery orders, drawing up transport documents and customs forms as well as keeping and evaluating statistics. The period of training for this qualification is three years.
