You can ship almost anything with DPD - to almost any country in the world - provided that your shipment does not infringe DPD's General Terms of Business or the laws and regulations which apply to the international shipment of goods. These are the regulations on foreign trade or the transport regulations of IATA, the international airfreight organisation.
In order to make sure these conditions are complied with, there is a list of Exclusions from transport which covers those goods which DPD does not accept for shipment. In addition, various import restrictions must be observed, depending on the type of goods which are shipped and the country of destination.
With immediate effect we are no longer able to transport liquids in international shipping by airfreight as DPD CLASSIC or DPD EXPRESS parcels. This is the result of directives from the airlines involved.
In the past damage has often been caused to other freight or to the aircraft itself by the escape of liquids.
As a result liquids of any kind are from now on excluded from international transport.
Please note that any parcels which contain liquids will in future be returned to the consignor at the consignor's own expense. The consignor will also be liable for any damage which is caused by liquids during transport.
For a list of the individual import restrictions please fill out the entry mask below.
