De komende maanden zijn er weer een aantal feestdagen. Hieronder treft u een overzicht aan van de wijzigingen in onze dienstverlening gedurende deze feestdagen.

Vanaf 1 januari 2011 worden de Incoterms 2010 in werking gesteld. De ‘oude’ Incoterms 2000 zijn namelijk herzien door de Internationale Kamer van Koophandel. Inhoudelijk verandert er niks aan de internationale leveringsvoorwaarden, alleen de benaming wordt anders. Zo levert DPD voortaan standaard onder 'DAP cleared' (voorheen DDP exclusief invoerrechten en belastingen), tenzij anders vermeld. In de onderstaande matrix worden de ‘oude’ Incoterms 2000 vergeleken met de ‘nieuwe’ Incoterms 2010 en worden de kostenverhoudingen tussen de verzender/exporteur en ontvanger/importeur weergegeven.

LET OP: Voor alle Incoterms 2010 is het verplicht dat er een plaats van bestemming wordt vermeld.
Wij hopen u hiermee voldoende geïnformeerd te hebben. Mocht u nog vragen hebben, dan kunt u uiteraard terecht bij uw Account Manager of Sales Support van uw DPD Depot.

Dinsdag 16 november, donderdag 25 en vrijdag 26 november staakt TNT post. Dit betekent dat de fakturen en correspondentie van DPD die verstuurd gaan worden, waarschijnlijk vertraging zullen oplopen in de bezorging.

Dit kan betekenen dat u, voor wat betreft de fakturen, onze digitale informatie eerder ontvangt dan de daadwerkelijke faktuur. Wij hopen op uw begrip.

Op dinsdag 12-10 wordt er in Frankrijk weer gestaakt door diverse vakbonden. Dit betekent voor DPD dat pakketten naar deze bestemming (vooral Parijs, Lion, Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse, Lille) vertraging op kunnen lopen.

Op 29 september wordt er waarschijnlijk gestaakt in Spanje. Dit betekent voor DPD dat pakketten, die verstuurd worden in week 39 naar deze bestemming, vertraging kunnen oplopen.

Op donderdag 23-9 wordt er in Frankrijk gestaakt door diverse vakbonden. Dit betekent voor DPD dat pakketten naar deze bestemming (vooral Parijs, Lion, Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse, Lille)vertraging op kunnen lopen.

Wij willen U erop attenderen dat er in de middag van maandag 30 augustus 2010 vanaf 12.00 uur bij de vestiging van DPD in Ede, werkzaamheden gepleegd zullen worden aan het vaste telefonie netwerk. Dit heeft tot gevolg dat de vestiging in de middag telefonisch bereikbaarheidsproblemen zal ondervinden.

Donderdag, vrijdag en maandag (19 t/m 23 augustus) is Sail 2010.
Dit houdt in dat bepaalde gebieden afgesloten zijn voor verkeer. Daar komt bij dat er een flinke drukte wordt verwacht in de stad. Deze dagen rijdt DPD wel gewoon haar routes, maar we moeten er wel rekening mee houden dat bepaalde gebieden slecht of niet toegankelijk zijn. Wij hopen op uw begrip hiervoor.

Wij willen U erop attenderen dat er in de ochtend van donderdag 24 Juni 2010 vanaf 08.30 uur bij de vestiging van DPD in Best, werkzaamheden gepleegd zullen worden aan het vaste telefonie netwerk. Gelieve er rekening mee te houden dat door het slechte weer en overstromingen in Frankrijk - voornamelijk in district 83 en 64 -, sommige dorpen en steden niet bereikbaar zijn:

De staking is voorbij.

Vanwege een staking van de Workers Union in Noorwegen is onze gateway in Oslo niet operationeel.

Daardoor is er tot nader order geen verzending naar Noorwegen mogelijk. Dit zal naar het laat aanzien helaas langere tijd gaan duren.

Naast DPD zijn meerdere logistieke dienstverleners hierdoor getroffen. Zodra er wijzigingen in de situatie zijn zullen we u, via onze website, informeren.

De bezorgtijden van het internationale pakketvervoer van DPD hebben geen vertraging (opgelopen) als gevolg van de IJslandse aswolk boven Europa. Dankzij de focus van DPD op Europees vervoer over de weg liep de bezorging van pakketten in Europa geen vertraging op, ondanks het enorme effect van de uitbarsting van de vulkaan Eyjafjallajokull op het Europese (lucht)transportverkeer.

CUSTOMS UPDATE AIR CLASSIC NETWORK

RUSSIA:

Please note that Russia will be served by DPD Russia for the Air Classic Network.

There is no limit for the value of the goods. Restrictions are described below:

• Prohibited Items: alcohol, foodstuffs, medical drugs and products, chemicals, fancy jewellery, undeveloped films, goods and media of
• a political nature, photocopying and printing equipment, goods for resale, tobacco, passports from any country, birth certificates,
• identity cards, BETACAM videocassettes, perfume, spare parts, mobile's phone.
• The preferred currency unit for invoices is US dollars.
• The mention "no commercial value, Value for customs purposes only" is compulsory on the invoices.
• Simplified express clearance procedure will only be applicable to shipments with a value under 5000 roubles (approx. € 146), and to shipments that do not require production of an import license or permit. Beyond this value, additional clearance delays can be expected.
• Highest extra costs which may represent more than 100% of the declared value are expected.
• Non-document shipments to the same consignee cannot exceed 146 euros / week.
• Non-document shipments to private individuals and businesses are dutiable at values from 1 cent upwards.
• Shipments containing goods for resale are forbidden at destination. Goods must be aimed at the personal use of the consignee.
• Shipments must be sent in limited quantities (3 items per shipment with a maximum of 5 items).
• A very precise description of the contents of the shipment must be given on waybills, pro forma and commercial invoices.
• Any shipment without a detailed description will be returned to the shipper or seized by customs.
• Terms such as, for example, "gifts", "samples", "spare parts" are no longer authorised.
• In case of return of goods, the shipper must provide a letter requesting the return of its shipment and the payment of costs.

The number WAT or TAX ID, is a fiscal number for the citizen (called CPF) and for company (called CNPJ) . This number is obligatory for all non-documentory dispatching.

INDONESIA

New Import Regulation from the Trade Ministry (dated 19 of January)

With effect from 1st January 2009 until 31st December 2010 for the following commodities:

Children Toys

The importer (consignee) in Indonesia must be registered to the Trade Ministry as a Certain 'Specific' Commodity Importer (IT-Produk Tertentu) verified by an appointed surveyor at origin to get the Certificate of Inspection (LS), prior to sending the goods to Indonesia.

The only exceptions are: Specific goods/parcels with a maximum value of FOB USD 1500 (One thousand five hundred US dollars) per shipment, specific goods designated to bonded areas.

INDIA/Customs regulations

Please note that as per India Customs directive, with immediate effect the transshipment of wood packaging material which is not of ISPM Standard from and into India will attract delays and penalty. All shipments, packed in organic materials (wooden boxes, pallets, crates etc.) should have “phytosanitary certificate” under International standard for phytosanitary measures" regulated under ISPM No. 15.

INDIA / Chemical and Medicine shipments.

Please note the following

-All Chemicals& medicines fall under the high value clearance category

-They have to undergo the approval from Additional Drug Council (ADC) and it must be cleared by a broker (where clearance costs are relatively high)

-Customs require Consignee’s Test license, for importing chemicals& Form 11 (Drug license) for Medicines

-Delays in clearance results into penalty of 1$ per day for each AWB starting at 8th days under customs custody

INDIA

Sending shipment containing “watches” to India is not allowed.

JAPAN / Quarantine

Some goods require quarantine such as Animals and plants products or foods product.

The importation of any soil is strictly prohibited-including soils attached to the roots of living plants. The exact description of the goods must be indicated in the invoice using the

Wording mentioned below

Additional costs of 65USD due to quarantine inspection will have to be paid by the consignee. Fumigation cost can also be charged (based on the weight of the parcel )

Additional transit time of 2 days is required, but can be longer based on the Japanese customs authorities decision

Destruction of the parcel is free of charge.

KOREA / custom regulation

The Korean customs strengthens its inspections on the actual value of the parcel.

In case of sending parcel through under value, a heavy fine can be established by the Korean customs.

TURKEY

According to new customs regulations in Turkey, return of the shipments which are held by customs (dutiable goods) can only be done by the authorisation of consignee.Power of attorney for the broker has to be provided by consignee so that shipments can be returned to origin.

IRAN / passports

Wij willen u eraan herinneren dat vanaf 1 juli 2009 electronische aangifte verplicht wordt.

Geen levering aan en van privé personen:

Afhaling bij en levering aan een privé persoon in Servië bevat veel administratief werk. Door deze werkzaamheden en de hoge kosten voor zowel de afzender als de ontvanger, is besloten de collection request van en naar Servië niet aan te bieden voor privé personen.

Telefoonnummer en contactpersoon van het afhaaladres verplicht:

Het telefoonnummer van de afzender in Servië mede als een contactpersoon moet bij de opdracht bekend zijn. In principe neemt DPD Servië met iedere afzender contact op voordat ze een afhaalpoging doen. Indien er geen telefoonnummer of contactpersoon bekend is, of het niet lukt contact op te nemen met de afzender, dan zal de collection request niet uitgevoerd worden.

The importer (consignee) in Indonesia must be registered to the Trade Ministry as a Certain 'Specific' Commodity Importer (IT-Produk Tertentu) verified by an appointed surveyor at origin to get the Certificate of Inspection (LS), prior to sending the goods to Indonesia.

The only exceptions are: Specific goods/parcels with a maximum value of FOB USD 1500 (One thousand five hundred US dollars) per shipment, specific goods designated to bonded areas.

TURKEY

Medicines and mobile phones are dutiable goods in Turkey. Especially for C2C or B2C shipments, senders should be informed that consignee has to perform customs clearance for these kinds of goods.

For medicines, consignee will require a prescription written by a Turkish doctor. It may also be required to have the approval of Turkish Health ministry for the medicine in some cases.

Please be aware that Daylight Saving Time begins in the UK and Europe on Sunday 29th March 2009 at 02:00 local time (clocks are moved forward one hour).

Australian clocks will move back one hour to reflect the end of their Daylight Saving Time (DST) on Sunday 5th April 2009.

Daylight Saving Time began in the Americas on Sunday 22nd March 2009.

Mainframe System clocks at Atherstone will not reflect the UK clock change until after the DOWNTIME on Sunday 29th March 2009.

The system clocks at Atherstone will be changed to use British Summer Time (BST) with the following impact regionally:-

In ons persbericht van dinsdag 17 februari over de nieuwe online service van DPD: www.nieuwelevering.nl is per abuis gemeld dat de ontvanger hierbij kan kiezen voor een tijdstip dat het pakket bezorgd wordt. Dit is helaas niet correct. De ontvanger kan aangeven op welke (werk)dag het pakket bezorgd kan worden.

Please be aware that TNT Israel is facing difficulties in clearing non- documents that reach them with pro forma Invoices and not commercial invoice. This is causing a huge delay in clearance. Any shipments that arrive with pro forma invoices will not be cleared and

will be detained until a proper invoice is provided.
