Dangerous Substances / ADR / Limited Quantities Services shall not be performed when a parcel contains dangerous substances.

Herewith we mean explosive substances and objects, compressed, liquefied or pressurized gasses, flammable liquids, flammable substances, substances that can self combust, substances that develop into flammable gasses upon contact with water, substances that excite fire, organic peroxides, poisonous substances, corrosive acids and other substances that can be harmful to humans and the environment*.

Shipping dangerous substances is only allowed if:

1. The parcel contains a limited quantity of dangerous substances as stipulated in Chapter 3.4 ADR 2011. The parcel has also the DPD Parcel label with the mentioning “dangerous substances in limited quantities, containing XX kg” and the parcel shows the square shaped mark as stipulated in the ADR 2011;
2. The parcel is provided with packaging approved of by DPD prior to collection for shipment;
3. The MPSEXP-file which the shipper has to send to DPD mentions the limited quantity of dangerous substances concerned.

Under the condition that the sender violates the provisions of these terms, he shall receive a penalty for each Parcel by which he is in default. The complete terms can be red in article 12 of our GTC.
