Transport Coördinator Work activities As a Transport Coordinator you coordinate, check and plan the execution of the operational work in the depot regarding the supply and collection of parcels. You manage drivers, guide and check them on their service according to the DPD quality standards. You are also expected to come up with points of improvement regarding the section division within the area. You control the financial processing of COD-parcels and coordinate and check the processing of the DPD Guarantee and Express parcels. It’s also your job to take care of correctly processing returned parcels. As Transport Coordinator you report to the Transport Manager.

Profile:

• Ability to work and think on Intermediate vocational education+ (MBO+) level (logistic studies)  
• Experience with planning routes in a dynamic environment  
• Affinity and experience with the (inter)national transport sector  
• Contacts with (regional) transport companies has the preference
• Topographical knowledge   
• Good communicative skills in Dutch, English and (preferably) German  
• Strong ability to analyze and organize
• Insight into figures, immune to stress, flexible and social.
• Good command of MS Office

 In the Netherlands DPD operates from nine depots in Amsterdam, Best, Etten-Leur, Joure, Meppel, Rijssen, Rotterdam, Tynaarlo and Veenendaal.
