DPD in Russia Again Highly Rated by Logistics Experts

Moscow, June 11th, 2009. – The VII award ceremony of the Logistics Operator of Russia, the country’s leading logistics services rating, took place in Moscow. DPD in Russia became the winner in the nomination ‘Logistics Express Operator’. For the second year running DPD was also awarded the title ‘Leader of Russia’s Logistics Services Market’.
The annual Logistics Operator of Russia Rating arranged by the Eurasian Logistics Association (EALA) and KIA Centre consulting company makes it possible for market players in and outside Russia to obtain comprehensive and objective information about the portfolio and quality of logistics services offered in Russia. Every year the rating becomes increasingly reputable among the industry professionals. The methodology of the rating is based on that of similar ratings in EC countries and represents a thorough analysis of the business activities of freight forwarders, warehousing logistics operators, providers of IT solutions for the industry and other logistics market participants. 70 to 100 leading industry players are assessed each year.
The companies trading under the DPD brand in Russia have been participating in the rating since its set-up in 2002 and have always been highly rated by the judging experts. This year DPD in Russia won in the ‘Logistics Express Operator’ nomination. For the second year in succession, DPD was also awarded the ‘Leader of Logistics Services Market’ title which is granted to those companies who have a long successful experience on the market, the highest annual volumes and enjoy the repute of reliable businesses.
