Fuel surcharge

In order to maintain the high quality of our services we have changed fuel surcharge for DPD CLASSIC product national and international from September 1st 2009.

The fuel surcharge is determined monthly on the base of the average monthly retail market price of Plinsko Olje D-2 which price you can easily find on www.mg.gov.si directorate for energy.

The base price for calculation is 1.019 €/L. DPD Slovenia will calculate a fuel surcharge in % as shown below:

1.301 - 1.345 6,0 %

The surcharge is the same for both domestic and international parcels and will be calculated and shown separately on the invoice, which will allow observing the effect of fuel prices on logistic costs. The fuel surcharge is added to the price of a standard parcel. The price of special and additional services will not be affected by the fuel surcharge.

Current fuel surcharge level for DPD CLASSIC parcel for invoicing period Januar 2012 is: 6%.
