Important to note

Packaging

It is important that the packaging corresponds to the weight of the package contents and thus provides sufficient protection for the goods during transport.

The packaging should be able to withstand the stresses of automatic and mechanical handling. Bundled parcels are excluded from transport.

Recipient address

Please ensure that the parcel is marked with a deliverable recipient address. For express parcels, please add the recipient's telephone number/mobile number to the address.

Attaching parcel labels

Please attach all relevant parcel labels (the DPD parcel label/service label, company address labels) to the top (largest surface) of the parcel. Place them as close together as possible, but so that they do not overlap. Please take particular care to ensure that the DPD parcel label is not covered by packaging strings or markings.

Foil

If you use shrink foil, please ensure that it is smooth and unprinted over the parcel label. To ensure legibility throughout the DPD system, we ask that you have your foil material tested by us for suitability before using it for the first time. This will ensure that nothing stands in the way of speedy transport. Simply contact your customer advisor for assistance.
