DPDgroup is number 2 in the European parcels market, delivering more than 4.8 million parcels every day. It employs 38,000 people in over 800 locations, serving 360,000 customers. DPDgroup offers a simple, convenient and flexible service for B2B and B2C parcel deliveries. DPDgroup focuses consistently on the needs and circumstances of all its customers and recipients. One example of this is the "Predict" service – unique in the industry – which offers parcel notification by email or text message, live tracking, multiple redirection options and a precise one-hour delivery window.
With more than 134 million cross-border parcel deliveries within the EU every day, DPDgroup has the best road network in Europe. Its 32,000 Pickup parcelshops are closely interconnected Europe-wide, with a standardised infrastructure, common IT system and harmonised products and services.
DPD's parent company is GeoPost, a 100% subsidiary of the French group Le Groupe La Poste. In 2017, GeoPost reported a consolidated annual turnover of 6.8 billion euros. That equates to 11% growth compared with the previous year.
