The baton has been passed on: Eric Malitzke is the new CEO of DPD Germany

After an onboarding phase of five months the change at the helm of DPD Germany was officially completed last weekend. Eric Malitzke is now the company's new CEO. His predecessor Boris Winkelmann will assume new responsibilities at the Paris HQ of the international parcel and express service provider.

Eric Malitzke joined the management team of DPD Germany in September, and has since then been prepared for the handover by his predecessor in a familiarisation phase. Malitzke has worked in leading positions within the logistics industry for more than 15 years. Before joining DPD he was, for example, Managing Director of Leipzig/Halle Airport, Head of the DHL hub in Leipzig and Director Operations for Amazon. Born in Frankfurt, he began his career with Fraport, the operating company of Frankfurt Airport. Most recently he was for over four years CEO of Fiege Switzerland, part of the international Fiege Group.

With immediate effect Boris Winkelmann, his predecessor as CEO of DPD Germany, is taking on new responsibilities in Paris. He is appointed Executive Vice President of GeoPost / DPDgroup.
