What is the difference between a collection request and a return?

When the parcel is collected, the driver brings a completed parcel label to the collection point. You can specify a different consignee and in this way order a drop shipment. In the case of a return, your customer has to hand in the parcel at one of our Pickup parcelshops.

How can I send back a parcel?

If the shipper has activated your parcel for a return in myDPD, you will see the return button in the delivery details. Otherwise please contact your shipper.

Is the return paid?

Whether the return is chargeable depends on the department store to which the return is going. See the FAQs on their site.

Why are other service providers on the parcel ticket next to DPD?

In the case of returns, in some cases we offer you the possibility to return goods from DHL or Hermes with DPD and vice versa. Please note that this is only possible if logos of other service providers are also shown on the parcel ticket next to the DPD logo and the delivery is given by the shipper.

I want to return a parcel. How much time do I have to do this?

That\'s what your shipper determines. Please contact him if necessary.

Can my customer enter the return address to his collection request himself?

The order for the collection request is sent directly to the responsible depot. An address entry of the customer is therefore unfortunately not possible.
