DPD Germany is part of DPDgroup, the second-largest international parcel delivery network in Europe. We ensure maximum transparency and flexibility in parcel shipping and offer a product range which covers all customer requirements – from same-day delivery in 90 minutes for urgent B2C shipments right down to industry-specific shipping solutions for B2B customers. Throughout Germany we have 78 depots and 6,000 Pickup parcelshops. A workforce of 8,000 employees and 10,000 delivery drivers are in daily operation on behalf of the company’s customers. DPD is the No. 2 on the German parcels market and ships 350 million parcels a year – around one third of these to private consignees. We provide carbon-neutral shipping for all parcels – at no extra cost to the customer.

With a daily volume of more than 4 million parcels the international DPDgroup is the second-largest international parcel delivery network in Europe. At more than 800 different locations a workforce of 30,000 employees operates on behalf of 360,000 customers, providing uncomplicated, convenient and flexible B2B and B2C parcel shipping. We focus consistently on the requirements and individual circumstances of all shippers and consignees – which makes us leading innovators when it comes to deliveries to private consignees. One example of this is the company's Predict service, which is unique within the parcels industry, together with its online map-based Live-Tracking function, a range of options for redirecting parcels and a one hour delivery window.

With more than 500 daily cross-border transport operations covering 35 countries DPDgroup has the best road network in Europe. Throughout the continent 28,000 Pickup parcelshops are closely networked, all of them with a uniform infrastructure, the same IT equipment and harmonised products and services.

The sole shareholder in DPD is GeoPost, a wholly-owned La Poste subsidiary. GeoPost posted sales of €6.2 billion in the year 2016.

In 20 European nations the DPD brand is an everyday sight on the country's roads. In March 2015 we adopted a new corporate identity which reflects our status as a modern and innovative parcel shipping service. This new brand identity also clearly profiles our position within Europe because we have brought together the DPD, Chronopost and SEUR brands under the newly-created umbrella of DPDgroup, highlighting the fact that they are all members of the same strong group.
