Cash-on-Delivery.

If you wish to be on the safe side with your payment processing then our C.O.D. service is the ideal solution. Processing is simple and fast - and if anything goes wrong you are protected by automatic insurance to the level of the indicated C.O.D. amount.

We provide crossborder C.O.D. services as follows:

  • with  DPD CLASSIC to Austria, BeNeLux, Czech Republic and Hungary.
  • with our  Express-Services DPD 10:00, DPD 12:00, DPD 18:00 to BeNeLux.

DPD’s C.O.D. service includes the following benefits:

 

  • The parcel is only delivered against immediate payment - up to a maximum cash payment of 2,500 € and 5,000 € for payment by crossed cheque.
  • In the case of cross-border shipments the C.O.D. amount is transferred within 72 hours.
  • Collective transfer is also possible on request: daily, weekly, fortnightly – the choice is yours.

Financial history
As soon as your C.O.D. parcel reaches the dispatch depot all the relevant data is immediately recorded and the responsible recipient depot is notified. As soon as the C.O.D. amount has been paid in at the depot which makes the delivery the next stage of the financial transaction is automatically initiated. You can follow the financial flow in the shipment tracking function on the DPD website. As a result you have transparency and security across the entire delivery process of your C.O.D. parcel, right up to the point the consignee’s payment is transferred to your bank account.

On the C.O.D. parcel label you tick the required form of payment - "Cash" or "Crossed cheque" - and enter the C.O.D. amount next to it.
