Fuel surcharge for kerosene.
In addition to our vehicle fleet, for the purpose of delivering your international shipments reliably and fast we also use aircraft in intercontinental transport. For ecological reasons DPD uses commercial airlines rather than cargo aircraft. Since 2007 we have been applying a kerosene surcharge in order to offset the rapid rise in the cost of aeroplane fuel. The amount of the surcharge is in line with market prices.

DPD reserves the right to change the reference value of the kerosene surcharge and the surcharge table without prior notice, and to redefine the amount and duration of the surcharge. The information published here is updated monthly.
The surcharge exclusively affects DPD CLASSIC (‘Intercontinental’ service table) and DPD EXPRESS parcels which can only be shipped by air, where kerosene is consumed instead of diesel. The surcharge is applied to the net‐cost of the shipment.
