  • Within Germany the C.O.D. amount is transferred within 48 hours, internationally within 72 hours
  • Collective transfer is also possible on request: daily, weekly, fortnightly – the choice is yours

Financial history

When your C.O.D. parcel reaches the dispatch depot all the relevant data is recorded immediately and the relevant recipient depot is notified. As soon as the C.O.D. amount has been received by the recipient depot the money transfer is activated immediately. You can follow the financial flow in the shipment tracking function on the DPD website. This provides you with transparency and security across the entire route of your C.O.D. parcel, right up to the point when the payment is credited to your account.

C.O.D. parcel label

On the C.O.D. parcel label you should tick the relevant payment box ('cash' or 'crossed cheque') and enter the C.O.D. amount in the adjacent field.
