DPD Russia together with MySender launched e-shoppers’ notifications via WhatsApp
Moscow, May 30, 2019 — DPD Russia goes on to care about e-shoppers’ convenience. Together with MySender the company has actualized informing receivers about the order status via messages in WhatsApp. Apart from that, MySender has provided convenient clients’ request handling in VKontakte social network.
The complex solution for communication with clients via WhatsApp and VKontakte encapsulates notifications distribution, clients’ requests and a chat bot. Implementation of the project developed by MySender took a bit over a month.
Shoppers prefer to manage the order on their own without calling the support service. According to DPD, the share of those who make changes online from 56% in 2017 increased to 70% in 2019. Managing delivery thanks to new channels has become even easier.
“For example, if the delivery date did not suit the consignee, he can transfer it to WhatsApp using a chat bot sending the respective number to him in response, no clicking on links required. Changing the delivery date is a matter of literally a few seconds.”
Natalya Chinova, DPD Russia Customer Service Manager
“Logistics, as a highly competitive and high-tech industry, is always one of the first spheres to introduce solutions that are convenient for customers — chatting, social networking or instant messengers. The operator has access to the history of each client’s request just as the client has access to the history of correspondence with the company via the messenger. Often the introduction of such services requires significant improvements in previously constructed contact centers. We are glad to cooperate with DPD and offer them a solution that minimally affects internal business processes, and without any significant costs on the part of our customer.”
Matko Zhnidarich, head of business development at MySender Russia
Integration of DPD API with MySender platform allows you to process messages from social network and instant messenger users on a first-come, first-served basis using a single workplace of the operator.
The company was founded in 2013. MySender is a platform that aggregates all communication channels between companies and their clients.
