Out-of-home delivery leader in France

Local shops, supermarkets, etc., Pickup parcel shops have been part of the daily life of every individual for almost 20 years to offer a seamless delivery experience.

With the strongest network in France, Pickup offers through e-commerce websites the most successful out-of-home delivery solution to e-shoppers. The geomarketing data high analysis enables Pickup to adapt the locations of its parcel shops according to the real e-shoppers habits.

A network adapted to the population density

Widespread in both urban and rural areas, Pickup network is particularly strengthened in high density sectors. Therefore, in the 20 larger cities of France, ¾ of the population is less than 600 meters from a Pickup parcel shop. In metropolitan France, 95% of the population is less than 10 minutes from a Pickup parcel shop.

« Pickup’s know-how in terms of selection and animation of its network, and our ability to handle important parcel flows, especially during peak periods (sales, end-of-year celebration, etc.) guarantee the best customer experience in our parcel shops. Out-of-home delivery is growing rapidly as it perfectly answers e-shoppers expectations: accessibility in terms of opening hours, speed, flexibility and value for money. »

Maxime d’Hauteville, Pickup General Manager

Special attention to the selection and animation of parcel shops

As soon as business starts, teams offer personalised support to the parcel shop: in-person training, distance coaching if needed, real time adjustment of parcel vomumes. To increase efficiency and continue its digital transition, Pickup has just launched an e-learning app enabling autonomous training of all its parcel shops. This app is available on all devices, including PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) provided by Pickup to its parcel shops.

Once parcel shops become autonomous, regional animators maintain the link throughout regular visits. This proactive stance helps to constantly listen to the shop needs in order to ensure the best possible experience for the end customer. In addition, network animators and Pickup’s hotline ensure total responsiveness in case of question or emergency.

« Creating link with 10,000 shops spread throughout France cannot be improvised. To do so, Pickup’s methodolody is based on two principles: training and animation. »

André-Jean Magniez, French Network Manager
