PIN is enough to collect your parcel in DPD Pickup
Moscow, 1 August 2019 – From August 1, 2019 on, collecting orders at DPD Pickup parcel shops and lockers is even easier and faster: one just has to say or enter a PIN code.
Now online store consignees do not have to show an ID to get their parcels: in a text message they will get a PIN code they will have to name to the parcel shop manager or enter on the terminal screen. At the same time, passport-based identification remains as an option.
Collecting orders with a PIN code is available only to online store customers in DPD Pickup parcel shops and lockers. The service was activated on August 1 for all online stores and multilevel marketing companies that work with DPD. Customers from other industries can enable it through a request to their manager. The service is free!
“Our top priority is our users’ maximum convenience,” says Ekaterina Lavrinova, Head of DPD Russia Pickup Network Support. “Now you can collect your parcel with a PIN code in all lockers and in 70% of parcel shops, we plan to launch the service by the end of autumn networkwide.”
