Use DPD PARCELBOX in Switzerland to send parcels directly and securely to letterboxes

Buchs, 4 November 2020 - The new DPD PARCELBOX service from DPD Switzerland lets you leave items in letterboxes. It's very simple and so easy.

With the DPD PARCELBOX service, items up to a maximum of 5.0 kg are left directly in the letterboxes. This service supplements the DPD PARCELLETTER service launched in March 2020, which allows mail to be sent and left directly in letterboxes.

DPD PARCELBOX is perfect for B2C mailings and is therefore the ideal solution for all retailers who send light and compact parcels.

Parcels are left without a signature, which increases the number of first-time deliveries and meets the recipients needs. Shipping notification for the recipient and parcel tracking for the sender are also included.

"The new service addresses the need to get parcels into the mailbox as quickly as possible and without detours. Recipients do not need to be at home at the time of the parcel being left," says Sabrina Würgler, Project manager for the launch of DPD PARCELBOX.

Shipments of all DPD services are climate-neutral and at no extra cost to customers.
