The "green" tram by DPD in the Czech Republic
1 April 2021 - The "green" DPD tram is heading to the streets of Prague drawing attention to the sustainability strategy.
DPD CZ has covered a tramway with our green livery, highlighting our green strategy as part of the DPDgroup social responsibility programme titled Driving Change™.
As part of the campaign, the company communicates steps that help it in its path to emission-free delivery. This "green" tram is covered with full stickers, which inform the public, for example, about 100% compensation of the carbon footprint of DPD or about alternative, ecological transport vehicles. These include a growing fleet of electrical supplies, bicycles and walking couriers. Passengers and passers-by on the tram can also find out about the number of "green" consignments each of these vehicles transport every day. The information on carbon neutrality is complemented by two other messages: "We have the green light in cities" and "We deliver your parcels ecologically".
For the first time, the Škoda 15T tram has officially left the depot on its regular route on April 1, 2021, and it will be possible to meet it throughout the year, until the end of March 2022. The production and installation of stickers was carried out in cooperation with BigMedia.
