Biocair expands its global logistics services with new offices in Frankfurt and Chicago

 

Biocair recently opened a new office in Chicago, bringing the total number of US offices to nine. This addition to Biocair’s global network is just one of several investments made in the last year, all part of the company’s efforts to further expand its industry-leading supply chain solutions for life sciences.

The new facility will accommodate certified packaging and conditioning areas for a wide range of temperatures, including an advanced liquid nitrogen service station, as well as office space for Operations staff.

Biocair has expert knowledge of the regulatory and logistics requirements associated with both domestic and international shipping from the US. The company recently hosted a webinar on the intricacies of shipping to China. A guidebook has also been created for Biocair customers that provides information on logistics requirements, including documentation, labelling and packaging.

 

 

In addition, Biocair recently celebrated the opening of its new facility in Frankfurt, Germany as part of the company’s ongoing international growth. The Frankfurt facility is twice the size of the previous offices and includes advanced temperature-controlled packaging facilities to suit a wide range of temperatures, including:

 

• Controlled ambient: 15ºC to 25ºC

• Refrigerated: 2ºC to 8ºC

• Frozen: -15ºC to -25ºC

• Deep frozen: -60ºC to -80ºC

• Cryo frozen: -150ºC and below
