What you’ll do

As part of DPDgroup’s Global Accounts Department based in Issy les Moulineaux (near Paris, France), you will contribute to the development of DPDgroup E-commerce European clients & industry strategy by working with central support teams and European subsidiaries. Reporting to the e-commerce Industry Director, you will have the following main missions: 1 ° Management of a client and prospect portfolio
  • Foster pan-European growth by coordinating the sales actions with subsidiaries for listed clients according to a defined strategic plan
  • Build and keep up-to-date business plans for these clients, which are consistent with the strategies of the subsidiaries and according to the approach validated in the relevant market
  • Mobilize the group's internal resources, both central (headquarters) and local (Business units), in order to ensure customer acquisition & satisfaction
  • Work in collaboration with support departments (IT, Legal, Marketing, CSR, Communication, etc.)
  • Promote the development of pan-European business within existing clients and also prospects
  • Support the sales initiatives of the subsidiaries on customers & prospects through calls for tenders or direct negotiations with the aim of retaining and developing the group's turnover.
  • Complete and update the Salesforce CRM tool for each account
  • Promote the group's offers to clients/prospects but also during external events.
2 ° Contribute to Ecommerce Market Knowledge & strategy
  • Share information and market trends detected through his/her network (clients, prospect, trade association, internal and external salespeople…) to contribute into improving market knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of strategic presentations related to Ecommerce
  • Recommend innovations and developments towards business units and central HQ departments (Marketing, Operations, IT…)

Your profile

You hold a graduate degree (business school or equivalent) and have minimum 5 years experience in international sales in a company with below skills :
  • Passionate with ecommerce
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce market at European level as a pre requisite
  • Strong client management skills and be a confident negotiator
  • Ability to develop a vision on the client/market evolutions to give and to inspire the various stakeholders
  • Full ability to share best practises and guide functional teams at local
  • Flexible for business travel at any time
  • Good operational understanding of all related activities (Information System, Operations, Legal, Sustainable Development ...)
  • Ability to develop leadership, in particular to legitimize its positioning with subsidiaries and influence decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills & ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to develop its internal and external professional network
  • Ability to take decisions and take initiatives
  • Agility to solve problems
  • Synthetic, autonomous & rigorous minded
  • Team spirit and openness
  • Comfortable and efficient in multicultural environments
  • Oral fluency / Good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • French skills would be an additional advantage
