GeoPost/DPDgroup at VivaTech: How does innovation shape the company’s everyday business?

 

For the 5th year in a row, La Poste Groupe takes part in VivaTech, the biggest startup and tech event in Europe that brings together business leaders, startups, investors and innovators. From June 15th to June 18th, VivaTech will be a showcase for innovation, inspiration and research to initiate positive transformation and new partnerships.

As part of La Poste Groupe, GeoPost/DPDgroup will have the opportunity to present some of its most innovative and ambitious projects at the La Poste Groupe’s stand. This stand includes several thematic areas.

  • An area for startups which are supported by GeoPost/DPDgroup.

    • Shiptify, whose mission is to democratize access to B2B transport management systems, and build interconnected and globally efficient supply chains.

    • epicery, which aims at making foodtech available to local shops by helping with their digitization or by bringing live commerce to the forefront.

    • Wayve, which contributes to rethinking autonomous mobility through deep learning AI technology.

  • An area hosting innovative offers, where GeoPost/DPDgroup will showcase some of its latest developments.

    • the Carbon Calculator, which provides shippers with dynamic information about the CO2 emissions of their overall parcel delivery operated by DPDgroup.

    • the myDPD app, which allows consumers to decide when and where they want to retrieve their parcels.

    • DrivR, a gamification app which enables drivers to directly see their individual performance on a daily basis, and particularly focuses on delivery performance and customer reviews.

  • A demonstration area where an exoskeleton conceived by German Bionic and which has been deployed in DPD Germany and DPD Switzerland will be showcased during the whole event.

 

GeoPost/DPDgroup will also share insights on how new technologies will transform the company more broadly. Olivier Storch - Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Americas & Urban Services, Innovation - will take the floor on June 16th at the CEO stories Keynote, where he will deep-dive into e-shoppers behaviors and new e-commerce trends which directly impact urban logistics.
