Years of service at DPD: 1.5 years (since May 2021)

‘I am so happy to have won the challenge. It shows that putting in the effort and delivering parcels carefully pays off. I am excited to see what awaits me in Croatia and I’m looking forward to picking the brains of the other drivers’, says Bozhidar Mitev from the Giubiasco depot.

The best driver in Switzerland will have the opportunity to be crowned the best driver in Europe. WOW, what an exciting challenge!

There are multiple qualifying rounds to make sure everything runs fairly and correctly. Internal events were held in the DPD depots to prepare the drivers in each business unit for the Delivery Excellence Challenge and communicate the core business objectives transparently.

The most important aspects of the challenge are as follows:

Productivity
Customer experience
Health and safety
Ecological sustainability

A total of 17 business units took part in the first DPDgroup Delivery Excellence Challenge 2022:

The winner was determined in six categories in the final round of the DPDgroup Delivery Excellence Challenge:

1) Knowledge test
2) Eco-driving and customer experience
3) Vehicle control
4) Jump start
5) Brake test
6) Gymkhana (a course designed to test driving skill)
