On December 12, 2025, DPD Slovakia detected signs of a potential cyberattack. The threat of real cyberattack was not confirmed after the thorough investigation.
However, to protect the data of senders and recipients, the company immediately activated extraordinary security measures and quickly managed the situation thanks to the immediate professional response.
This incident, handled by DPD in cooperation with the national CSIRT unit, caused a temporary disruption of some services, including shipper, mail notification or pickup.
Customer and recipient data were not exposed to any leakage, loss, or unauthorized access as the threat was not confirmed.
All systems have been fully restored on Friday, 12th December in the afternoon and currently are operating normally.
