DPD Estonia reminds you that fraudsters increasingly use the DPD name and logo to create trust and deceive people into giving away money or personal data. DPD is not involved in these activities. Please stay alert and follow the recommendations below.
An email appears to to originate from DPD, but the actual sender is unknown. Treat any email with caution if it requests you to make bank transfers, pay additional fees, or share card details.
Official DPD emails only come from these domains: @dpd.ee, @dpdgroup.com, @geopost.com.
DPD never asks for banking codes or advance payments via email.

Example of a fraudulent message
Fraudsters operate on Marketplace, posing as buyers. They claim to pay for goods through DPD or demand an extra insurance fee from the seller.
Fraudsters frequently attempt to migrate the conversation to WhatsApp or other messaging applications to remove any trace of communication later.

If you receive a link claiming to lead to the DPD website, check the address carefully and make sure the page is legitimate.

If the address differs, it’s a fraud attempt.

Example of a fraudulent message
If a caller claims to be a DPD employee or courier and asks for your bank card details, online banking codes, prepayment, or similar information, it is a fraudulent call. DPD employees will never ask for your bank card details or PIN codes.
If you receive such a call, do not call back the number from which the call came. Instead, contact DPD Customer Service directly at +372 613 0012, who will help verify whether the call was genuine.
Do not share your credit card details or PIN codes.
Do not share your contact information (email, phone number, address) on social media with strangers.
Verify the email address from which the message was sent. If the email does not arrive from an official DPD email address, it is an email fraud. DPD does not send emails from other addresses (e.g. @gmail.com, @hotmail.com and other such domains).
Pay attention to the spelling and content of the letter. Be thorough when reading the letter or visiting the website, there are often many spelling mistakes and the word usage is unclear.
If you receive a suspicious phone call, end it immediately. Do not call back the number from which the call came. Instead, contact DPD Customer Service directly at +372 613 0012.
DPD does not ask for extra fees for insurance or other additional services. The recipient will only pay for a parcel if they have ordered it with the Cash-on-Delivery service. In the case of a Card-on-Delivery parcel, we always send an SMS to the recipient, stating the exact sum which must be paid upon delivery. If you do receive a Card-on-Delivery parcel from DPD, this must be paid for upon receipt directly to the courier or at the parcel locker.
If you suspect that you have been sent a fraudulent email, do not open any links or attachments sent with the message.
