With DPD you have a strong business partner at your side. No matter whether you are just starting your online shop or running a large corporation: with us you can ship parcels, letters and special formats in any quantity inexpensively, quickly and reliably.
The claims process at DPD is governed by the Complaints Code, which sets out the conditions for submitting a claim in the event of proven damage or loss of a shipment.
A claim can only be submitted by the contracting party (the sender), who also pays for the transport. The sender can easily submit a claim via our Claims Portal using the online form.
Are you the recipient and your parcel arrived damaged?
We recommend contacting the sender as soon as possible and providing photos of the damage (both packaging and contents) and a brief description of the issue.
The sender will then submit the claim and arrange compensation with us.
This process is in place because the transport contract is established between DPD and the sender.
For international shipments, please contact the sender - only they can initiate a claim in the country where the shipment was sent.
