Walk into any DPD branch or office, and you’ll see women driving our success in motion. They move with precision, direction and a strength that is simply unmatched. For an industry that’s been male-dominated for decades, DPD has been intentional in prioritising diversity and inclusion in our business – one appointment, one promotion, one leadership pathway at a time.
Today, women at DPD South Africa lead some of the most complex and business-critical portfolios in the company. They’re running national operations, heading finance, leading sales teams, managing international movements, and building a service culture that holds strong across every touchpoint. These women are delivering results, growing teams, and reshaping the norm.
Let’s start with compliance – a non-negotiable for a business like ours. Here Dinah Liebenberg leads with a sharp eye and steady hand, ensuring we operate within every legal and ethical boundary. In finance, Heidi Meintjes oversees revenue and governance at an executive level, balancing growth with control.
When it comes to service, our team is geared towards building trust and long-term relationships, under the leadership of Adel Butterworth, National Customer Service Manager, along with Anne van Goethem, one of our Regional Executives who oversees several branches and the national call Centre. In the Print Division, Christine Arthur leads a specialist operation serving clients with high-impact campaign work.
In operations, Bronwyn Voigt manages our fleet across South Africa, keeping our vehicles road-ready and cost-efficient. Next to her, on the international front, Pepper van Heerden leads our cross-border logistics portfolio, connecting South African customers to over 230 destinations globally.
Sales is another area where female leadership is front and centre: Nicky Smith runs our Inland region, Natasja Mouton handles Coastal, and they’re joined by Ntombikayise Dyani in Telesales
Our Channel Managers Portia Manyama and Yolanda Mosese drive key accounts and strategic partnerships, which are crucial in building and supporting client relationships.
In credit and finance support, Kubashini Narayanasami leads nationally, while Helen Bekker manages our creditors portfolio. Chrisie Steffens ensures our claims process runs smoothly, and Lehakoe Lepheane leads our Debrief team, ensuring every parcel accounted for, every time.
These women are drivers of real change and equality, mentors, problem solvers and decision makers – and they’re helping shape the future of this business and our industry. Their impact is felt daily in every client interaction, every delivery on time, every innovation implemented and every team supported to grow.
ABOUT OUR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES: At DPD, we back our leadership with action. Our development strategy includes learnerships, mentorship, study assistance, and talent planning designed to remove ceilings and create real, lasting pathways to senior roles.
The reality is: Transformation only works when it’s lived! This Women’s Month, we’re proud to recognise the women who continue to move the business forward – with insight, consistency and impact that speaks for itself.
