DPD as No.1 on the private parcel services market

In the Czech Republic, the DPD company takes over all depots, pickup points and courier network of the Geis Parcel CZ company. Our customers will newly be able to use more than 1 250 DPD Pickup points, 31 depots and parcels will now be delivered by almost 2000 couriers.

New invoice details

  • As of 31 December 2020, the fusion of both companies, DPD CZ (formerly Geis Parcel CZ) and Direct Parcel Distribution CZ, will take place and they will be finally legally merged. After the merger, the DPD CZ company will cease to exist individually.

  • Together with the merger, DPD CZ will cease to exist, as well as its current Company Identification Number and VAT Number. In the same time, Direct Parcel Distribution CZ will take over all the rights and obligations of the DPD CZ company.

  • Please, issue all invoices with the following invoice details now: Direct Parcel Distribution CZ s.r.o., Modletice 135, 251 01 Říčany u Prahy, Company Identification number: 61329266, VAT number: CZ61329266.

  • I am a current contractor of the DPD CZ company. What are the invoice details of the new company?

After the merger on 31 December 2020, Direct Parcel Distribution CZ s.r.o. will be the successor company. Our invoice details can be found here.

  • I am a contractor of the DPD CZ company, do I have to change the invoice details on my invoices? Where shall I newly send them?

To be able to accept your invoices, you will have to change the invoice details in all invoices submitted after 1 January 2021 (i.e. invoiced in January 2021 and later). Invoices submitted before 31 December 2020 will have the original invoice details. Our current invoice details and postal address can be found on our website here.

  • When will the DPD CZ and Direct Parcel Distribution CZ companies be merged?

The merger will take place on 31 December 2020, Direct Parcel Distribution CZ s.r.o. will be the successor company.

  • I am a contractor of the DPD CZ company, will the Direct Parcel Distribution CZ want to sign new supply contracts with me?

As a successor organisation, the Direct Parcel Distribution CZ company will take over all rights and obligations from the existing contracts after the merger. Therefore, new contracts are not necessary. Nevertheless, in some cases, concluding a new contract or amending the current one might be necessary as operating procedures of the Direct Parcel Distribution CZ could be different from the original ones. Specific business cases will be looked at individually and we will inform you about them in time.

  • I am a contractor of the DPD CZ company, who can I contact after the merger of both of the companies as regards my questions about operation of the company?

You can contact DPD as you have been used to. Contacts to operation departments employees remain unchanged at all depots.

  • What are the new rules for equipping carriers with uniforms with the DPD logo?

DPD demands its couriers to represent well the DPD brand. Therefore, each courier will get a starter pack with a DPD uniform. Its distribution will be carried out by our depots you are in contact with today.

  • How will the replacement of new DPD logo stickers on delivery vans be carried out?

DPD takes a very good care of how its logos look like and if they are used the right way. Replacing the stickers on the delivery vans will be organised by DPD itself in cooperation with selected certified partners. You will be gradually informed about the precise details of stickers replacement.

  • Will there be a DPD training about the new procedures?

Yes, DPD has its own courier training program. Specific information about the trainings will be given to you by depots you are cooperating with now.
