If you need dangerous goods to be transported, you can count on DPD. We transport hazardous items not only in the Netherlands, but to the rest of Europe too.
At DPD we take dangerous or hazardous goods to mean:
It is only permitted to send dangerous goods with DPD when:
The regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road are set out in a European agreement, the ADR (Accord européen relative au transport international de marchandises Dangereuses par Route). The ADR is part of the Dutch VLG (regulations for the Transport of Dangerous Substances by Land). The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act forms the basis of the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road.
Does your parcel comply with the laws and regulations mentioned above? Then we can deliver your parcel in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The postal codes below form an exception to this. That’s because transportation to these postal codes occurs partly not by road. For example through tunnels.
As a sender you don’t meet the conditions described above? Then we will charge you a fine. See the DPD Manual and our General Terms and Conditions for all conditions relating to hazardous substances.
