Our drivers make two delivery attempts as standard. If the consignee is not present at the address, the driver will leave a note in the letterbox. The driver will then attempt to deliver the parcel again on the next working day. If the consignee is absent once again, the driver will leave another note in the letterbox. The note explains how the receiver can obtain the parcel.

You can create the parcel label via our online shipping tool DPD Web Parcel. Next, stick the label on your parcel and bring it to a Pickup shop closeby.

You can drop the package in any Pickup shop. To find your nearest Pickup shop in your area, see our Pickup parcelshop finder.

Parcels which you ship with DPD are automatically insured according to CMR conditions. Business customers have the additional possibility of arranging for higher insurance on demand. Please note that higher insurance can only be concluded for individual orders. You can require a higher insurance here.

If the consignee can\'t be located, the driver leaves a notification card in the consignee\'s letter box after the first delivery attempt. The driver will drop off the parcel at a Pickup parcel shop where it will be stored for 5 working days. After that, the parcel will go back to the hub where it finally will be returned to sender.

For a 2B sending, the driver will make three delivery attempts. In case non of the deliveries was successful, the parcel will be shipped back to sender.

With ParcelLetter you send your smallest parcel at the best rate. This service is only available via the online shipping tool DPD Web Parcel. As an occasional shipper, this service fits you best.
