Ethics and compliance

Commitments to ethics and professional conduct

Ethics are an integral part of the culture of DPD Belgium and form the basis of our commitment to sustainable development. It is our individual and collective responsibility to share, at all levels of the company, its principles and intrinsic values, in particular through

  • the perpetual implementation of compliance programmes relating to competition, anti-corruption, due diligence, international embargoes and sanctions, and personal data protection

  • the formal commitment of our employees to our updated code of conduct, which defines the behaviour expected in the course of their professional activity.

In addition, as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening its ethical and compliance commitments, DPD Belgium provides all its stakeholders with a warning system for reporting situations that are inappropriate or do not comply with the fundamental principles and/or applicable laws and regulations.

Code of conduct

Our code of conduct defines the expected behaviour of our employees in the course of their professional activity.

Sustainable Procurement Charter

Our partners' adherence to the Responsible Procurement Charter, which formalises the principles relating to human rights, international labour standards, the environment and the fight against corruption, is a prerequisite.

Warning system

If you are confronted with behaviour that is contrary to the code of conduct or reprehensible in the professional context, do not hesitate to speak up. All reports are treated confidentially by Safecall and DPD Belux. You can remain anonymous.

Frequent questions about the warning system

Cyber crime

DPD BeLux wants to reassure you that we only offer parcel services and do not support any financial transactions between sender and consignee or a third party, nor do we facilitate payment for the value of the goods. The sole online payment service DPD offers to consumers is payment of Web Parcel shipping costs, by sender only, via the secure SSL website.

When you suspect any abuse of the DPD logo and/or name with criminal intent (so-called Phishing) or in any other case, we advise you to remain very cautious at all times and to follow official guidelines. For instance, be sure to always check suspicious domain names.

For more information, please consult the official government website.  You also have the option to log an official complaint via email

We also advise you to log an official complaint with the police of your place of residence. All official bodies and police forces are fully aware of these illegal practices, which affect shipping companies just as bad. DPD already collaborates closely with the police; however, for obvious reasons, DPD cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred by these kind of rogue practices and infringements by third party criminals.
