The Pickup portal is the place to be for all existing DPD Pickup parcelshops. All the information you need as a DPD pickup point is stored in this central place. Tips & tricks, the latest news and both on- and offline promo material to put your shop in the spotlight, everything is available here. You’ll also find advise to use the hand scanners and to handle the parcels in your shop in the most efficient way.
Each times the driver stops by to drop off parcels, you will need to sign for receipt. A useful adivce: always double check the amount of parcels the driver actually drops off. Only sign off in case the number of parcels is correctly mentioned. A simple check but one that can saves you the time of searching parcels and that saves the end consignee some frustration.
Send your planning at least two weeks in advance to the Pickup Serviceline. It allows us to schedule the delivery rounds of the driver and thus prevent them and your customers standing in front of a closed door. Also, you better not accept new parcels right before your holiday. This way we avoid parcels being left in your shop until you return from holiday.
A parcel stays in the shop for at least 7 working days before it is returned. However, that period may vary per sender. To make it easier, you can simply follow the instructions on the PDA. After all, there you will automatically receive a 'TO DO' message as soon as you can return a parcel. You do not have to return a parcel before you have received this notification. Handy and easy! The PDA also indicates when a parcel is not intended for return.
Have you missed a notification or you don't know what parcels to hand over to the driver? You will find an overview of parcels that can be returned on the PDA at 'TO DO List'.
