Unique service for DPD customers 

We are now eliminating any doubts about delivery with an additional service in Belgium and Luxembourg. From October, we will take a photo of every parcel we deliver. This double proof of delivery is unique in the parcel market.

DPD is the only one to offer this innovative service in Belgium and Luxembourg.

  • The recipient is not visible

  • Recipients can always refuse the photo

Is this a free service?

Yes, this service is 100% free.

When will this service be available?

For our depots in Sint-Niklaas, Courcelles and Luxembourg we have already activated the photo as proof of delivery this summer. The other regions of Belgium will start as of October. This way we are completely ready for the end-of-year rush.

What happens if the receiver is not at home?

The drivers takes a photograph while dropping the completed not-at-home letter in the mailbox. 

Where can I check the photos?

In case of dispute regarding the delivery, you can request the photos from our customer service.

Are international parcels also being photographed upon delivery in Belux?

Yes, photos are taken of all parcels delivered by DPD in Belux to business and private addresses.

Are parcels from Belgium or Luxembourg also photographed when being delivered abroad?

The proof of delivery for deliveries abroad depends on the regulations in the country of destination. The photo as proof of delivery is currently not mandatory in every country, but we as a group pay a lot of attention to it. Each country is investigating how they can improve this process at their own pace.
