With Predict service, we provide your consignees with a tailored delivery solution that informs them of the time slot during which they will be delivered, and allows them to modify their delivery option if they are absent.

 

 

The customer journey

  1. When placing an order on your website, in order to benefit from the Predict delivery service, your customer will give you their mobile number and e-mail address, which we will need to interact with them.
  2. Once the order has been prepared, the data related to this delivery are sent to us.
    We will notify your consignee by SMS and email as soon as we handle the parcel.
  3. Of course, your customer can track his or her parcel at any time on dpd.fr and get online help if necessary.
  4. On the day of the scheduled delivery, the consignee receives an SMS and an email indicating the delivery time slot and the secure delivery code.
  5. The parcel is delivered within the time slot indicated, following the security instructions for a contactless delivery that is completely safe for the delivery person and your recipient.

Your parcels must comply with standards for optimal industrialised processing. This standard guarantees you cost savings, processing quality, increased productivity and the safety of your goods.

DPD France ensures the transport of parcels and documents, in compliance with the following standard :

  • Dimensions : 3m developed area and 2m maximum length.
  • Weight: 30kg per parcel maximum.

In order to benefit from Predict delivery and interaction with your customers, it is essential that you provide us with their mobile phone number. Data will be transmitted either via EDI or via our labelling station.

Your options

.DPD's contractual liability is set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, based on the provisions of the French Transport Code (Decree no. 2017-461 of 31 March 2017), the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) of 19 May 1956, the Warsaw Convention of 12 October 1929 and the Montreal Convention of 28 May 1999.

In the event of loss, deterioration or any material damage resulting in the total or partial destruction of the parcels and goods entrusted to the company, DPD and its insurers are liable for up to €33 per kilo, with a maximum of €1,000 per parcel.

The Predict delivery service is available in 22 European countries with the DPD CLASSIC service offer.
