Transport is currently responsible for about a quarter of the world's energy-related CO2 emissions. An increase of about 80% in freight transport activities is expected by 2050 compared to 2005.

For the delivery sector, reducing its environmental impact is a major challenge. Every day, Geopost delivers more than 5.2 million parcels to 23 countries across Europe, including 320,000 parcels handled daily by the DPD France network.
