Belgium

Changed way of working to prevent physical contact: two delivery attempts to home addresses. In case of an unsuccessful delivery, the parcel will be held in our depots for 7 calendar days. End consignee can ask for a third delivery attempt. If he doesn't ask or the period of 7 calendar days has passed, the parcels will be returned to sender.

Parcel will return to the sender if Pickup parcelshop is closed.

 

58% of our Pickup parcelshops are still open. 

 

No redirection to a Pickup parcelshop possible.

 

In case of unsuccessful first delivery attempt to a home address > changed procedure (see info on the left).

Bulgaria

Collection request service has been suspended in Bulgaria until further notice.

Czech Republic

No deliveries for 78321, 78324, 78391, 78401

If we have the info that the pickup point is closed, the parcel is held in the warehouse . We automatically send a text message to the customers if they want to change the pickup point or prefer a home delivery (only without cod, no credit card no cash). Consignee signature and carrier signature is no longer required.

 

Drop-off/return: normal process

 

Mandatory closure of shops and restaurants till 24/3; Only foods shops, tabac shops, pets food; flowers and farmacy remain open. Some places should be closed til april.

Estonia

Delivery: parcel will be delivered in the nearest locker if the chosen pickup point is closed. If there are no lockers close then home delivery will be arranged. Consignee signature is no longer required. 

 

Drop-off/return: normal process

France

The La Poste Colissimo network (B2C parcels) will be closed on the 25th and 28th of March meaning that no injections nor deliveries will be possible on this day. In addition next week, injections will only be possible on the 31st of March, 1st of April and 2nd of April. Deliveries will be made only on the 1st of April, 2nd of April and 3rd of April. Injections will not be possible on the 30th of March, 3rd of April and 4th of April. These mesures have been put in place in order to limit the spread of COVID19 et to protect the population and our employees.

 

Due to a significant decrease in activities because of the measures in France, DPD France has decided to open their network only on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. There will be no pickups, deliveries and no international departures or arrivals on Wednesdays and Fridays. The network Chronopost (consumer deliveries) remain unchanged.

 

Please expect delays for deliveries as a lot of companies are closed.

Delivery restrictions for B2B deliveries: a lot of shops are closed so 2B deliveries so we recommend to send your parcels to a home address as much as possible.

Hungary

There are major delays at all our export and import linehauls, because of the traffic jams at the borders. 

The closed shops are unavailable.  If the shop closes during the transportation the parcel will return marked vis-major. 

 

Signature is not required. No physical contact.

Poland

In connection with the introduced border controls, we have traffic jams of several kilometers at border crossings. This may result in 1-2 day delayed in transit time of parcels.

Carrier will deliver parcels in the nearest pickup point if the chosen one is closed. If there’s no available pickup point in the area, parcels will be returned to the depot, where they will be awaiting for pick-up by consignee for 7 days.

 

Consignees signature is no longer required in the shop.

 

Drop-off/return: normal process, only sender's signature is no longer required.

Portugal

If shop is closed, parcels are returned to shipper

Slowakia

Delivery process based on zero contact between the driver and the consignee

Switzerland

Due to a state of emergency decree, there is a curfew for the population of Ticino. delays in delivery are possible.

The Netherlands

Starting from 23/03 until further notice there will be no Saturday deliveries in the Netherlands. 

Delivery to a pickup point is up and running, but facing temporary closures. In these cases parcels will be misrouted/delivered to another pickup point nearby.

 

 

Although, we are not encouraging customers to send to a pickup point. Because of the possibility the NL will follow in a total lockdown and all shops will be closed.

 

 

Consignees signature is no longer required. Shop owner enters last 3 numbers of the consignees' ID card to validate.

We've improved our contact free delivery process to include photo capture proof of delivery. Customers will not be asked to sign our handheld units and our drivers will take a photo of the parcel at the point of delivery.

As of 24.03, all UK Pickup Shops are closed.

 

If shop is closed when driver arrives to deliver – if we can access a home address – it will be relabeled and deliver to home. If we can't access a home address ( direct ship 2 shop ) an RFI ( request for further info from sender ) is required.

Extra medewerkers en chauffeurs

Voor de ophaling en levering van pakketten. Op basis van uw verwachte volumes zetten we in de depots extra medewerkers in om de drukte op te vangen. Onze depotmedewerkers gaan vroeger aan het werk om meer pakketten te kunnen verwerken.

Extra call agents

Tijdens de eindejaarsperiode staat een grote groep getrainde medewerkers klaar om je vragen te beantwoorden.

Extra vrachtwagens

Voor de drie populairste bestemmingen (UK, Duitsland en Frankrijk) voorzien we extra trucks.

Je volumeverwachting en vakantieplanning

Heb je jouw verwachte volumes voor Black Friday (29/11) en Cyber Monday (2/12) al doorgegeven? Dit kan nog tot 22 november via dit formulier. Vergeet ook niet je eventuele sluitingsdagen door te geven voor de eindejaarsperiode. Dit kan via hetzelfde formulier tot 6 december 2019. Bedankt!

Gewijzigde dienstregeling op 24 en 31 december

Op 24 en 31 december gaan onze depots vroeger dicht. Op beide dagen zullen we bijgevolg maar tot 15 uur leveren. Ondanks deze kortere werkdag zullen we ons uiterste best doen om alle pakketten op de voorziene dag af te leveren. Lukt dit niet, dan gaat uw pakket de eerstvolgende werkdag mee met de chauffeur. U houdt er dus best rekening mee dat bepaalde pakketten voor 24 december mogelijk op 26 december worden afgeleverd; voor 31 december wordt dat 2 januari.
