In this interview, he shares his journey at DPD, the challenges he overcame, and how the company supported and encouraged him along the way. DPD: “What was your career path at DPD before becoming Central OPS Manager? What triggered your desire to change roles?”
Zenel: “My career at DPD began in operational logistics, followed by various leadership roles in operations. The desire to switch roles came from my drive for new challenges, greater strategic responsibility, and personal development.”
DPD: “What were the biggest challenges in moving from the warehouse to operations, and how did you overcome them?”
Zenel: “The biggest challenges were taking on more responsibility and managing a larger team. Thanks to my warehouse process experience, targeted training, close collaboration with experienced colleagues and the support of my supervisor, I was able to master these challenges successfully.”

DPD: “Can you share a specific example where you felt supported by DPD in your career?”
Zenel: “I felt supported throughout – especially when DPD gave me the chance to contribute to different projects, enhance my leadership skills through training programs and take the next step in my career.”
DPD: “Do you feel that DPD encourages career development and puts employees at the centre?”
Zenel: “Yes, absolutely. DPD actively promotes career development and clearly puts employees first with targeted training and internal career opportunities.”
DPD: “Has working at DPD changed how you see your own potential? If yes, how?”
Zenel: “Yes, definitely. Working at DPD has shown me that my professional potential is greater than I originally thought. With new challenges, responsibilities and opportunities, I’ve gained much more confidence in my abilities.”
DPD: “What are your goals for the coming years at DPD, and how do you believe the company will support you?”
Zenel: “My goals are to continue developing myself and my team, foster joy at work, and encourage my colleagues to try new things – so we can achieve success together. DPD supports us by continuously showing trust in us.”
DPD: “If you were to recommend DPD to a friend or colleague, which benefits of the company would you highlight?”
