As the consignee you decide when or where we deliver the parcel. You can choose from several options in order to have your parcel delivered the way it suits you best. You normally receive an email with the parcel number. If we have not located you at home, you will also find the parcel number on the parcel notification card which we leave in your letterbox. In your "Preferences" you can register the type of delivery which is generally the most suitable for you.
For mainland domestic service, the maximum weight of the volumes we carry is 30 kg and the total of the 3 dimensions should not exceed 1.60m and the largest measure cannot exceed 1.20m.
For international road service, the maximum weight of the volumes we carry is 31.5 kg and the total of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 3.00 m, calculated by the formula Length cm + 2 x (Width cm + Height cm). The maximum length is 1.75m. If the parcel exceeds the dimensions and is accepted by the DPD network, an additional fee of 26,00 € will be due. Volumetric weight is also applied to this service whenever it is higher than real weight, being calculated by the formula Width cm x Height cm x Length cm / 5000.
Volumetric Weight applies to the International Air and Islands service and whenever this is bigger than the actual weight of the order (according to the formula: Width cm x Height cm x Length cm / 4000 in the Islands, and Width cm x Height cm x Length cm / 5000 in international). Volumetric weight is applied to shipments to the Spanish Islands whenever it is bigger than the actual weight of the goods, using the formula Width cm x Height cm x Length cm / volumetric ratio. Volume ratios: Balearic Islands, Ceuta: 5000; Canary and Melilla: 3000.

Phishing is an online fraud technique used to illegally acquire personal, financial, and other data via email or SMS, using the identity of trusted institutions.
More recently, many SMS messages have emerged that aim to deceive the recipient, seeking to obtain personal or financial data or unauthorized access to computer systems. This practice is known as Smishing or SMS spoofing, whenever the sender field is manipulated, causing the name of a legitimate entity to be displayed, potentially leading to the incorrect association of the message with the authentic communication history of that entity on the user's mobile device.
Here are some general security tips against Smishing:
Do not click on suspicious links - avoid clicking on any link received via SMS, especially if the message is unexpected or alarmist (e.g., urgent charges, prizes, pending deliveries).
Verify the sender - even if the name seems legitimate (e.g., "DPD", "Bank"), be suspicious. Spoofing can cause the message to appear in the history of real conversations.
Please note that DPD does not send emails or SMS messages requesting payment for shipping or asking for a specific amount to make a change to an order. Only in the case of cash on delivery shipments is there a payment due, agreed upon between the sender and the recipient, and always paid to the DPD driver upon delivery, not in advance by our organization.
