FEATURES:

  • The shipment consists of a maximum of 1 package per destination, with a maximum weight per package of 31.5 kg.
  • Maximum length allowed per package: 175 cm.
  • Electronic proof of delivery (electronic signature of the recipient at the time of delivery) is only available online.
  • The circumference + length of the parcel must be less than 300cm (circumference = 2 x height + 2 x width).
  • When calculating the chargeable weight of the package, the greater of the gravimetric weight (determined by actual weighing) and the volumetric weight (volumetric weight = length x width x height in cm / 6000, resulting in kg) will be taken into account.
  • For exceeding the maximum weight / maximum length allowed per parcel, an additional fee of 40 EUR/parcel will be charged.
  • For the Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Finland) and France, only one delivery attempt is included.
  • Shipments to the islands are not accepted.

EXTENSION OF LIABILITY LIMIT SERVICE:

  • The service consists of insuring a registered postal item against loss, theft, total or partial destruction or damage, for an amount that cannot exceed the value declared by the sender.
  • The maximum allowed limit of the declared value is the equivalent in RON of 5,000 euro/shipment.

DISCOUNTS:

  • For shipments delivered in / picked up from the DPD Romania OOH network, a 5% discount is granted, applied to the rates mentioned above.
  • An additional 5% discount will also apply to shipments picked up by consignees in the DPD OOH network in destination countries.

COLLECTION REQUEST:

  • The collection request is an international shipment sent from the EU to an address on the territory of Romania.
  • For collection requests, a fee of 30 RON is applied.
  • Collection requests from the EU to Romania are accepted and processed from Monday to Friday, until 15:00. Collection requests received after 15:00 will be processed on the next working day.
  • For collection requests, the sender's local phone number and email address are required.
