Here are a few rules to follow to ensure that your international shipments go smoothly

  • Check that the destination is well covered.

  • Check that the contents of the parcel are not prohibited or restricted. No hazardous products.

  • Check that the packaging is suitable for the goods being shipped.

  • Check that the weight (max. 30 Kg) and dimensions of the parcel (Area 3 m maximum / Length 175 cm) comply with DPD standards.

  • Check that the document pocket is glued to the parcel with: 2 invoices (1 copy + 1 original), in English (with full and accurate information), typed on headed paper.

  • Check that all the information has been filled in on the commercial or pro forma invoices :

    • Sender's contact details

    • Consignee’s contact details (name, address, telephone)

    • full and accurate description of the goods in English (mandatory and indispensable for customs)

    • the incoterm used

    • declaration of the value of the goods: declare the actual value before tax (otherwise risk of fine).

Please note: if the value of the parcel is greater than the tax threshold applied at destination, the recipient will have to pay additional taxes.
