Check that the destination is well covered.
Check that the contents of the parcel are not prohibited or restricted. No hazardous products.
Check that the packaging is suitable for the goods being shipped.
Check that the weight (max. 30 Kg) and dimensions of the parcel (Area 3 m maximum / Length 175 cm) comply with DPD standards.
Check that the document pocket is glued to the parcel with: 2 invoices (1 copy + 1 original), in English (with full and accurate information), typed on headed paper.
Check that all the information has been filled in on the commercial or pro forma invoices :
Sender's contact details
Consignee’s contact details (name, address, telephone)
full and accurate description of the goods in English (mandatory and indispensable for customs)
the incoterm used
declaration of the value of the goods: declare the actual value before tax (otherwise risk of fine).
Please note: if the value of the parcel is greater than the tax threshold applied at destination, the recipient will have to pay additional taxes.
