Proper external packaging must ensure the safety and integrity of each shipment throughout the delivery process. Suitable packaging includes a durable, securely sealed box, a dedicated courier bag, a specialized shipping envelope, or transport-grade packaging film.
Use sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes with intact structure and even edges.
The box must be securely sealed along all seams, using the H-taping method (at least three sealing lines). Apply sufficient adhesive tape appropriate to the size and weight of the parcel to prevent accidental opening during handling.
The parcel must be sealed in a way that prevents access to its contents without visible damage to the packaging.
Items must be fully enclosed within the packaging. No parts may protrude, as this may lead to damage during transportation or automated sorting processes.
Each parcel must be prepared and shipped separately. Combining multiple parcels into one unit by taping or binding them together is not considered compliant packaging.
When using packaging film, ensure that the final edge is firmly secured with adhesive tape. Improperly sealed film may loosen during sorting or transportation, posing a risk of damage to the shipment, other shipments, or sorting equipment.
Factory packaging is designed for retail display purposes and is not sufficiently durable for transportation. Retail packaging must always be placed inside a transport box. Use a sturdy, appropriately sized corrugated cardboard box.
Factory packaging is intended for transporting uniform goods from the manufacturer to a wholesaler or retailer. In contrast, transport packaging is designed for shipping goods from the seller to the end customer, where they are handled and transported together with shipments of various types.
Factory packaging designed for transportation is the original manufacturer’s packaging intended for the safe handling and delivery of goods. It provides protection against impact, vibration, and compression, and is suitable for pushing, pulling, or handling with equipment.
The parcel must be rigid and reinforced, with internal protective materials (e.g., foam inserts), and clearly marked with handling labels such as “Fragile” (for example, packaging used for televisions or household appliances).
If you are shipping a parcel weighing between 25-100 kg or with dimensions exceeding 290 meters, and the item is packed in original factory transport packaging, palletization is not required. Such a parcel must be suitable for handling by pushing, pulling, or using loading equipment. The packaging must be strong and free from damage.
Examples include washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, large-screen televisions, etc.
Use a box of appropriate size. If the box is significantly larger than the item being shipped, excessive internal cushioning will be required, and the box may be crushed during transportation.
To ensure safe shipment sorting and transportation, paper bags and fabric materials must not be used as external packaging, as they:
