Social project "Children's wishes"
For more than 10 years, we've contributed to the "Children's wishes" initiative, assisting in fulfilling the dreams of children facing challenging social conditions in Lithuania. Generous donors can fulfill these dreams in two ways – by delivering personally or by sending them. "DPD Lietuva" offers the opportunity to fulfill dreams by sending them through DPD parcel lockers completely free of charge. In 2023, we helped fulfill over 7000 dreams. Our employees also personally contribute to improving the lives of these young ones.
We're delighted and proud to be part of this project, ensuring that children's dreams are fulfilled quickly and efficiently. We cover the costs of gift delivery, allowing donors to allocate the intended funds for the gift itself.
The "Children's wishes" initiative helps fulfill children's wishes all year round, so there's no need to wait for major holidays to contribute to the dreams of children living in more challenging social conditions – projects are carried out throughout the year.
Sports initiative - supporting individuals with disabilities
We strengthen team spirit among employees by organizing and participating in sports activities. By hosting special runs and cycling marathons, we not only unite for a common goal but also contribute to improving the mobility of people with disabilities.
In 2016 and 2017, the funds raised were allocated to support children with mobility disabilities through the SEB Fulfillment Campaign. In 2018, "DPD Latvia" and "DPD Estonia" joined the initiative. In 2019, during the project, we collectively covered 32,000 kilometers on foot and by bike, which translated into social support. In 2020, as many as 255 employees (51 teams) in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia joined the initiative. In 2023, during the project, we collectively covered 77,000 kilometers on foot and by bike, resulting in significant social support.

Embarking on the journey of corporate volunteering isn't just about encouraging citizens to give back to their communities; it's about cultivating a resilient and motivated team within the company. "DPD Lietuva" has long championed the cause of employee volunteerism. While some members of our workforce lend their time to individual endeavors, such as the Red Cross or animal shelters, the bulk of our team rallies behind the Food Bank initiative.
At the Food Bank, a dedicated cadre of colleagues gathers, offering their assistance to the tune of up to 10 individuals per shift. Together, they meticulously sort incoming food donations and contribute to various other tasks. Our employees find solace and fulfillment in the opportunity to volunteer, bolstered by the company's provision of a paid day off for this noble pursuit.
It's profoundly rewarding to play a role not only in our company's success but also in supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to aiding those in need. Through our collective acts of volunteerism, we not only evolve as individuals but also as a compassionate society. These endeavors serve as a poignant reminder of the paramount importance of humanity and empathy in our lives.
Blood donation
We are proud of the "DPD Lietuva" team, which contributes to a noble cause by participating in blood donation campaigns organized by the National Blood Center. It's not just about doing good work; it's about providing a vital gift to those in need. Blood donation helps individuals recover faster and return to a fulfilling life; in some cases, it's the only thing that can save a person's life.
We have no doubt that this initiative will become a tradition for us, and the National Blood Center's bus will be a frequent visitor in the DPD courtyard.

One million medicine kits for Ukraine
We participated in the impactful campaign "One Million Medicine Kits for Ukraine," which encouraged both individuals and businesses to refrain from discarding their unused car medicine kits but instead deliver them to designated collection points across the country, from where the medicine kits were subsequently forwarded to Ukraine.
