• Items (or their parts) must not protrude beyond the edges of the pallet, as protruding parts can be damaged or may damage other shipments during loading or sorting.
• Parcels on the pallet must be stacked stably and should not shift relative to each other. During transportation, they must maintain vertical alignment and must not topple over.
• Parcels must be secured to each other and to the pallet using special straps or stretch film.
• Only intact and sturdy pallets should be used; pallets must not be repaired or otherwise modified.
• Parcels must be stacked on the pallet so that during transportation and sorting, the lower parcels can withstand the static pressure of the parcels above.
• Recommendation: When shipping bags with bulk products, place a sheet of cardboard at the base of the pallet, and additionally wrap the lower parcels with cardboard or a special pallet frame for extra protection.
