Tire packaging

Important: For shipments to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, only one tire per parcel is allowed.

Cardboard round sheets

Correct packaging

Round cardboard sheets on both sides of the tire, securely fastened with a strap.
Sheets must cover the entire tire surface.
Sheets should have hand holes for easy handling.
The address label must remain fully visible.

Incorrect packaging:

  • Sheets improperly secured or loose.
  • Straps covering the address label.

Cardboard (box)

Correct packaging:

  • The tire is wrapped in a single, continuous cardboard sheet.
  • The sheet is securely fastened with a strap.
  • The address label remains fully visible.

Incorrect packaging:

  • Tire packed with two sheets, with edges or corners protruding.
  • Protruding cardboard can get caught on conveyors.
  • Shipment label may tear off.

Shrink wrap

Correct packaging:

  • Film surface should be smooth and suitable for conveyor transport.
  • The address label placed on the outer surface of the film.
  • Label positioned close to the edge of the tire.
  • Film thickness at least 40 μm.
  • Wait for the film to cool before applying the label; avoid using thermal printers.

Incorrect packaging:

  • Uneven film surface.
  • Address label under the film, making scanning difficult.
  • Label placed in the center may fold or become unreadable.

Stretch wrap

Correct packaging:

  • Film should cover at least ¾ of the tire surface, or the entire surface if shipping to Sweden.
  • Hand holes left on both sides.
  • Film must be firm, smooth, and suitable for conveyor transport.
  • Address label applied to a flat surface.

Incorrect packaging:

  • Film covers only a small portion of the tire.
  • Address label applied to the tire edge.
