DPD CARGO REGIONAL

Delivery of parcels with a weight of more than 31.5 kg and up to 50 kg, from the territory of Romania,
to an address in Bulgaria or Greece, as well as pick-ups of parcels from the mentioned countries.

PARAMETERS:

  • Door-2-door delivery.
  • 100% country coverage.
  • 2 delivery attempts.
  • Track & Trace online.
  • Electronic proof of delivery – represents the electronic signature of the recipient at the time of delivery. It is only available online.
  • A maximum of 10 parcels are accepted in a shipment. The tariff applies per parcel.
  • Maximum weight allowed per parcel 50 kg.
  • The maximum length, allowed per parcels is 175 cm.
  • The circumference + length of the parcel should be less than 300cm (circumference = 2 x height + 2 x width).

TAXABLE WEIGHT

  • When calculating the taxable weight of the parcel, the greater weight between the gravimetric weight (determined by actual weighing) and the volumetric weight (volumetric weight = length x width x height in cm / 5000 resulting in kg) will be taken into account.

TRANSIT TIME

  • Transit time is 1-3 working days, except the localities with fixed delivery days, available on the website. In this case, the delivery term will be available on the shipping document of the shipment (AWB).

  • Delivery terms do not include public holidays in the countries of dispatch and/or destination, force majeure and fortuitous events.

VALUE ADDED SERVICES

The service consists in the payment by the recipient to the sender of the value of the good that is the object of the registered shipment, through the DPD network.

The recipients have the possibility to pay for the cash on delivery of both cash and by bank card directly to the courier. Maximum amounts of refund:

  • Bulgaria - 9,999 BGN
  • Greece- 500 EUR

The service consists of insuring a registered postal item against loss, theft, total or partial destruction or damage, for an amount that cannot exceeding the value declared by the sender.

The maximum allowed limit of the declared value is the equivalent in RON of 13,000 Euro/shipment.

Service consists of delivering a shipment and picking up documents from the consignee for return to the sender.

Service consists of delivering the shipment and receiving in exchange another shipment from the consignee.

Opening the parcel on delivery – possibility offered to the recipient to view the contents of the parcel at the time of delivery, in the presence of the courier.

Testing the parcel on delivery - possibility offered to the recipient to check and test the contents of the parcel, at the time of delivery, in the presence of the courier, within 10 minutes.

The service is only available on the territory of Romania or Bulgaria.
