How do I secure a delivery with a QR code (DPD Secure)?

PD Secure allows you to add an extra layer of security to your deliveries in France (Predict and Classic services) by requiring the recipient to present a QR code or secured code upon delivery. Enable this option from the Additional Services section when creating your shipment.

How do I secure a delivery with a QR code (DPD Secure)?

DPD Secure is an additional service that enhances the security of your deliveries in France. When activated, the driver will ask the recipient to present a QR code or PIN code before handing over the parcel.

This service is available in France only, for Predict and Classic services.

To activate DPD Secure on a shipment, follow these steps:

 

  1. Create a shipment and fill in the recipient's information.

  2. Select the Predict or Classic service

  3. Choisissez un point Pickup proche de l'adresse du destinataire.

  4. In the Additional Services section, enable the "Secure delivery with QR code" option.

  5. Complete your shipment and print the label.

DPD SECURE

Once the option is activated, your recipient will receive a QR code or secured code by email or SMS, which they will need to present to the driver at the time of delivery.

This service is available if your contract includes it. If you cannot see the option in myDPD for Business, please contact your DPD account manager.
